The Function
In your role as Field Service Engineer (mechanical engineering) you will be responsible for
preparing installations and for the actual commissioning of control systems for poultry
processing installations in Belgium, The Netherlands en Germany. Maintaining and
overhauling equipment already installed will also be your responsibility.
In larger projects you will direct local colleagues and will communicate with the customer
about progress. You will arrange customer training and will feed results back to the
organisation.
Requirements
As the successful candidate you will have
· A technical college, mechanical engineering or marine engineering or will have
reached an equivalent level through experience on the job
· A solid, self-reliant personality
· Commercial interest and feel
· Analytically strong with a capacity to solve problems
· You will have a hands-on mentality, you will be flexible and resistant to stress
· Prepared to travel and irregular hours
· Languages: Besides Dutch, the ability to speak English. Other foreign languages
like German would be a plus
